The Freewire TV application will let you watch TV through your home broadband connection rather than a conventional aerial, satellite dish or cable. So rather than watching on a normal TV, you can take your pick from over 50 digital TV channels on your PC or laptop. Clever, eh?

I have wildblue internet connection through highspeed Satellite.Upload is 177 Kbps and download 1573 Kbps. Im hearing impaired and will it show closed-caption to read on desktop? Also does not work in Australia unfortunately. Installation worked but execution did not. Help line explained this system was only available to some UK universities and then on campus only.
