MAXEnterprise is built to manage enterprises whose IT infrastructure are made up of multi-vendor equipment and based on disparate platform. Based on a distributed and scalable architecture, it can extend to manage the geographically-dispersed organizations and their IT resources as well.
MAXEnterprise operates in a multi-tier distributed architecture. The MAXOnsites installed at the remote sites will communicate securely with MAXEnterprise by establishing multiple redundant paths. In the event that the primary path breaks down, MAXOnsite will automatically initiate up to 9 other back-up paths to ensure uninterrupted data transfer to MAXEnterprise.
MAXEnterprise monitors the availability and performance of enterprises entire infrastructure based on SNMP, WMI, Performance Data Collector, HTTP and ping. It also has auto-discovery and auto-learning capabilities, helping you keep your network topology map updated.
Keeping you in view of tell-tale signs, MAXEnterprise provides infrastructural data in graphical and tabular formats for easy analysis. It delivers reports on demand or based on pre-set reporting schedules.
In cases where faults occur, MAXEnterprise tracks event occurrence and speeds up fault resolution. Its defined threshold setting keeps your team members are notified once the threshold falls before the pre-set parameters. The flexible alarm settings allows you to set the mode of alert, be it in the form of e-mail, SMS or pager, in case of service outage. It tracks down the root cause of the problems quickly with its event correlation feature.
MAXEnterprise simplifies the administration work, off-loading the hassle in the day-to-day IT operations and giving you control over your IT infrastructure. It replicates data from MAXOnsite to MAXEnterprise, providing central control of the system and acts as a back-up for the historical data. Facilitating set-up, it provides you with map views of network connection and resource view to track problem devices and search for the required resources easily.
