I am having problems unistalling the trial. I am getting the error:
Error E9011: You do not have sufficient privileges to install or uninstall CA Personal Firewall. Unable to update registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWARECACAPF. Try Logging in as Administrator.
I get that wheter I am logged in as Administrator or someone with Administrative privileges.
I get the same error. Have tried from Safe Mode, and increasing permissions on CA-related registry keys.
I had the same problem, I was able to uninstall it by killing all the CA processes and un-install through add/remove programs.
Me too. This program is ok until you try to uninstall it. Ca has set it up to prevent it as its not a windows message. I have wasted a couple of hours on it already.

I also have the ERROR E9011 and would like help to install CA Firewall
I have uninstalled CA firewall demo but it now keeps telling me I have an invalid registration key and I cannot get rid of this. I also run CA (vet) antivirus software so i tried customer service in Australia and cant even get a reply (waited for two weeks) to my question. Ringing their freecall number is next to useless as you wait hours to try and talk to anyone.
So if they treat their customers like this what hope do you have.
I have the same problem as Ki. Error E9011 is displayed when I try to unistall CA personal firewall. I am the administrator of my computer
I got it to work by running regedit and right-clicking on each key that caused error and granting permission. There were about 10 of them, but it solved the problem.

help i uninstalled the program but now everytime i start windows it tries to install ca from the start even if i dont have it installed.

Thanks for the comments. They have warned me against this mess up of the excellent firewall TPF. Uninstall problems are very virus-like.
I cannot install or uninstall CA, the program only partially installed and wont finish. the firewall continues to try and download and fail none stop the min. i log on, and stops me from uninstalling the product. I also noticed that iTunes wont open! some one HELP! Please i just restored my computer after other problems…

Ca needs to bring back tiny firewall. The CA firewall is not based on tiny software technology.

why the hell would CA by out a good firewall they just stuffed it up
to this day I use my router firewall along with tiny firewall
