there is a lot of advise about how to increase your ranking, but none of it works. having a workable system for getting ranking with google is a must!!

I have been working on my sitemap and have not been able to move up the ranks on google, maybe this will do the trick?!

normaly you can gzip sitemap.gz if its a large file, the crawler support gziped sitemaps and put in the domain website root folder (yourdomain.tld), submit the sitemap by http://www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/
and ping it. login by http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/ verify you as site owner and see if it shows errors after it have crawled it. also u can do this by msn search and yahoo as much i remember from vb seo. you can write a .htaccess rule and redirect it if its in a subfolder via url rewrite rules, but how to use it on subdomain.blogspot.com ???
My page have about 3000 sites, to crawl it generate 4 to 5 times more. I gave up after a day generating the sitemap by 40%. Alternative u can use a rss feed or atom feed and submite as sitemap.
please let me know if anyone have a trick how to use it on blogspot.com as there is no way to host it
