| File Chopper v2.12 (19 Kb) |
-
If you need to split a large file for floppy backup, or as portions for email attachments, try FileChopper32 (v2.0) for Win95/98.
-
It's quite possibly the smallest-sized file-splitter around. But you'll find it does more than some other splitters which, as one user best puts it, "are so big, they themselves need splitting!"
-
Input fields turn active/inactive, buttons change, for easy use. Supports drag-&-drop, regular/irregular part sizes, preserves file date.
-
Can also be run from the desktop with a command-line parameter, and the splitting is carried out in the background with the default part-size. Generates auto-rejoin .bat.
-
The file description says for Win 9x, however I tested it at home (Win 95) and at work (Win 2k) and it worked perfectly. (Rob)
